PROJECT RATIONALE

Over 950 children study in the 12-year high school of Khanbogd soum, Umnugobi aimag. Restrooms for students and teachers were not built in the school building in the first place. It is one of the priorities for the school to build school public toilets. school for outside toilet, are forced to use open areas of the school and/or have to prolong their biological process with uncomfortable feeling. In addition, there is no place to wash hands as basic hygiene standard. The consequence could be spread of infectious diseases. It is necessary to minimize these negative conditions and create a pleasant environment for the teachers and students.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project will build 12х3, 5 м2 fully equipped public toilet with 9 compartments that meets hygiene standards.

PROJECT OUTCOME

• Providing a standard toilet with full sanitation and disinfection facilities will enable students, teachers and employees prevent infectious diseases, work in a hygienic environment, and provide good learning and working environment.
• 4 new jobs will be created at th school which will increase the income of unemployed citizens.
• It will be a good practice for other schools to learn
