PROJECT RATIONALE

The existing heating plant in Manlai soum is located between 3 main governmental buildings of the soum, 33 m away from the school of 330 khildren,17 m from kindergarten with 125 kids and in 28 meters away from dormitory with capacity of 77 children. The heating plant adversely impacts to health of more than 100 members of Manlai soum because of the pollutant substances. Manlai soum Governor’s office has completed necessary studies and engineering design works.

PROJECT BENEFIT

• 9 big buildings that are built in the recent years in Khanbogd soum will be connected to the central heating system and these are the Governor's Office, cultural center, social insurance building, kindergarten, 5 - floor apartment, integrated animal health center, school and kindergarten complex, community development center and prosecutor’s office.
• It will reduce air pollution and fire in the soum center by resulting in the reduction of independent heating systems
• At least 7 new jobs will be created
